The fifth recipe for my Sweet Freedom/Choc Shot recipe challenge. A really simple but tasty dessert packed full of goodness and flavour, perfect when you want a quick, creamy chocolate (but healthy) fix! Silken tofu is one of my favourite alternatives to use in place of high calorie, high fat cream/cream cheese – the end result is just as good!
Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 1 avocado
- 1 pack of silken tofu
- Splash of apple juice
- Splash of hazelnut milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- About 1 tbsp ground almonds
- 2 tbsp Choc Shot (more or less depending how sweet you want it)
- Strawberries or other fruit, to serve on top
Get making!
This one is so simple – just put all the ingredients in a blender and blitz until smooth. Mix well then pour into little cups or ramekins – it should make enough for 4. Leave in the fridge for a few hours or overnight until firmed up. Serve with a few slice of strawberries (or other fruit) on top and serve!
