The latest guest blog recipe comes from the gorgeous Louise Mewett aka Goodness Me Food. Focusing on ‘easy, cheap and clean eating’ recipes, her visually appealing blog contains plenty of delicious and super healthy food ideas and combinations. I was thrilled when she got in touch inviting me to write a guest recipe post for her wonderful blog (coming soon!), so to return the favour, Louise has provided a nutrient-packed smoothie – quick, simple and bursting with goodness, what more could you want?
Banana & ‘Chocolate’ Smoothie
5 minutes to make, 1 serving
- 1.5 bananas
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 2 pitted dates
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbs raw cacao powder
- 1 tsp flax seed
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1/4 tsp Himalayan sea salt
1. Roughly chop the bananas, spinach and pitted dates
2. All all ingredients into a blender and blend until well mixed
3. Top smoothie with fruit, seeds or raw cacao nibs!
