You can’t beat or underestimate a nutrient-packed smoothie as a snack or for a power breakfast. With limitless variations and combinations of fruits, liquid and superfood or protein powders to whizz together, I usually blend one up after my daily workout and take it to work for for a morning boost at my desk. You can throw in whatever you want depending on taste and preference, but this blend with the addition of Linwoods Flaxseeds with biocultures and vitamin D is a surefire winner!
Ingredients (to serve 1)
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup frozen berries
- 2 tbsp natural soya yogurt
- 1 scoop of lean whey protein powder (I used PhD Nutrition Choc Peanut diet whey)
- 30ml unsweetened almond milk
- 1 ½ tbsp Linwoods Flaxseed mix
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Get making!
All you need to do is put everything in a blender and whizz thoroughly for about 30 seconds until smooth and blended. Pour into a glass or shaker and enjoy!
