I love a challenge, especially when it comes to food and widening my culinary skills and imagination for a task. Not long ago Tabasco got in touch inviting me to take part in their #BestOfTheBrunch campaign, which saw me create a Chipotle Sweet Potato Baked Eggs & Fresh Guacamole recipe using the brand’s Chipotle and Original Sauces.
Being a huge fan of Tabasco’s range of sources in general, when the opportunity came up to be part of their latest #FunWithFlavour campaign, well – I jumped at the chance again! Celebrating the Pepper Sauce’s ability to transform almost any dish all over the world since 1868, what’s great about the iconic and natural sauce is that it’s made from just three ingredients: chilli peppers, sald and vinegar – that’s it!
So, onto the challenge: create my very own ‘Ultimate Tabasco Menu’, incorporating the sauce into a Starter, Main and Dessert dish. Many readers of my blog will know I focus on tasty but healthy recipes with a focus on gluten-free, no added/low sugar and high protein creations, so I was keen to keep this theme with a spicy kick to it.
Here’s what I came up with…
STARTER: Tabasco Chipotle Pesto & Quinoa Stuffed Peppers
MAIN: Spicy Tabasco Salmon with Courgetti Noodles & Tomato Sauce
DESSERT: Raw Chocolate, Lime & Strawberry Tabasco Chilli Cheesecake
