When you get a recipe that looks gorgeous and delicious, and it only takes a short time to make (no one would know), that’s surely a winner, right?! When you have an oat and coconut base topped with dark chocolate and crunchy granola, you have such a tasty treat ready to enjoy at any time from the fridge – yet they don’t take much effort to make, promise!
Ingredients:
For the donuts –
- 120g oats (or a berry mixed version of oats)
- 40g desiccated coconut
- 2 tablespoons nut butter
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
For the chocolate –
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 70g dark chocolate
- Desiccated coconut
- Granola, to sprinkle
Make them!
- Mix together the oats and coconut in a bowl. Melt the coconut oil, nut butter and syrup then pour into the bowl and mix together.
- Press into 6 x silicone donut holes and fill to the top.Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours to set.
- Once set, pop out of the holes tin and stand on a wire rack (dome side up). Melt the coconut oil and dark chocolate, then spoon over each one to cover well.
- Sprinkle over coconut and granola then return to the fridge for another hour at least. Then enjoy!
